Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Office Manager, where your leadership and organizational skills will drive the success of our dental practice. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and deliver exceptional patient experiences. Your expertise in medical office management and practice administration will help create a smooth-running, patient-centered environment that promotes growth and excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the dental office team, including administrative staff, dental assistants, and hygienists, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Oversee fiscal management tasks such as budgeting, financial reporting, medical billing, and managing practice expenses to ensure financial health. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft to manage patient records efficiently while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Coordinate patient management processes including appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and ensuring accurate medical records documentation. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as JCAHO standards, HIPAA policies, and state/federal health regulation policies. Manage human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to maintain a high-performing team. Oversee daily clinic operations including supply inventory management, vendor relations, and maintenance of office equipment. Implement quality assurance protocols to uphold clinical standards and improve patient satisfaction through excellent customer service. Qualifications Proven experience in medical office or healthcare practice management with a focus on dental clinics preferred. Strong supervisory skills with experience managing teams within a healthcare setting. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft; familiarity with Medical Management software is highly desirable. Knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance, JCAHO standards, and health policy policies. Excellent fiscal management skills encompassing budgeting, financial analysis, and medical billing processes. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare administrative support functions. Effective managerial communication skills coupled with customer service excellence to foster team collaboration and patient satisfaction. Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments with acute care or hospital experience considered an asset.
