Demand Planner/Master Production Scheduler

Master Scheduler Ready to take your manufacturing experience in a new direction? Our client is looking for a Master Scheduler to join their team and help keep production moving, priorities clear, and customer commitments on track. You do not need previous Master Scheduler experience. They are willing to train the right person. What you do need is experience working in a manufacturing environment, strong analytical and Excel skills, and the ability to look at a lot of moving pieces and make sense of them. This is a great opportunity for someone who understands manufacturing, enjoys working with data, and is ready to build a career in production planning and scheduling. What You’ll Do Please note: This is not an administrative scheduling, office coordination, accounting, or finance position. As the Master Scheduler, you’ll work across Production, Materials, Purchasing, and other teams to develop and maintain the production schedule. You’ll learn how customer demand, material availability, capacity, and production priorities all come together to determine what gets built and when. You’ll be responsible for: Developing and maintaining production schedules based on customer demand, available capacity, and material availability Reviewing production requirements and helping identify potential scheduling or capacity issues before they become problems Monitoring schedule performance and adjusting priorities as conditions change Using data to identify shortages, constraints, trends, and potential risks Working closely with Production, Materials, Purchasing, and Customer Service to keep priorities aligned Reviewing ERP/MRP data and helping ensure information used for planning is accurate Communicating schedule changes and priorities to the appropriate teams Participating in production and planning meetings Using Excel to analyze data, track performance, and support scheduling decisions Learning the processes, systems, and requirements of electronics manufacturing What We’re Looking For We’re less concerned about whether you’ve held the title Master Scheduler before and more interested in whether you have the foundation to become a great one. You should have: Experience working in a manufacturing environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with data The ability to organize and prioritize multiple competing demands Strong attention to detail The ability to communicate effectively with people across different departments Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change A willingness to learn production planning, scheduling, ERP/MRP systems, and electronics manufacturing processes Experience with production planning, inventory, materials, purchasing, ERP/MRP systems, or electronics manufacturing is helpful, but not required .
