DGI Logistics is looking for Delivery & Installation Technicians to join our Pittsburgh team. You'll work with a team delivering, assembling, and installing fitness equipment in homes, businesses, schools, fitness centers, and other commercial facilities throughout the Pittsburgh area. Previous fitness equipment experience is NOT required. We will train the right person. If you have experience in furniture or appliance delivery, moving, construction, mechanical work, equipment assembly, warehouse/delivery, maintenance, or another hands-on trade, we encourage you to apply. Pay & Schedule $19.00–$23.00/hour starting pay, based on experience Entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude typically start at $19–$20/hour Candidates with relevant delivery, installation, mechanical, or similar experience may start at $22–$23/hour Opportunities for pay increases as you learn the position and take on additional responsibilities Monday–Friday schedule 7:00 AM start Typical workday ends around 3:00–4:00 PM Typically 40–42 hours per week Occasional overtime Overnight travel is occasionally required but is not a regular part of the position Employees report to our Neville Island location at the beginning of the workday. What You'll Do Deliver residential and commercial fitness equipment Assemble and install cardio and strength equipment Load and unload company delivery trucks Safely move heavy equipment using proper material-handling equipment and team-lifting techniques Drive company vehicles, including 16–26 ft. straight trucks, to customer locations Communicate professionally with residential and commercial customers Troubleshoot installation and assembly issues Keep customer locations clean and leave each job site in excellent condition Work as part of a team to complete installations safely, efficiently, and correctly What We're Looking For You don't need fitness equipment experience, but you do need to be mechanically inclined and enjoy working with your hands. The right candidate will: Be dependable and show up ready to work Have strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Own and be comfortable using basic hand tools Take pride in doing quality work Have strong attention to detail Work well independently and as part of a team Provide professional and friendly customer service Be willing to learn new equipment and installation techniques Be comfortable with a physically active job that includes lifting, carrying, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and moving heavy equipment with team assistance and proper material-handling equipment Be comfortable driving company vehicles, including straight trucks Have a good driving record Be able to obtain a DOT medical card No CDL required. Tools Our installers are expected to own basic hand tools and be comfortable using them.
