Duties Safely operate box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles to deliver goods to various locations, adhering strictly to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks Manage warehouse operations including inventory organization, stock replenishment, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace Use mobile devices or delivery apps to navigate routes efficiently, track deliveries, and communicate with team members Assist with moving items within the warehouse or loading docks using proper manual handling practices to prevent injury Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups, including weight handling records and delivery confirmations Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally during deliveries and ensuring customer satisfaction Skills Proven warehouse experience with knowledge of material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks and forklifts Valid driver’s license Experience in delivery driving, especially personal vehicle delivery or courier services, is preferable, but not required Strong understanding of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and weight handling in the workplace Familiarity with route driving, adhering to traffic regulations, and DOT (Department of Transportation) compliance standards Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally during interactions Ability to perform manual handling tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards in warehouse operations Embark on a rewarding journey where your driving skills meet your passion for logistics!
