Duties Safely operate delivery routes, adhering strictly to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Load, unload, and organize materials using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts Ensure accurate delivery of goods to customers’ locations while providing friendly and professional customer service Manage warehouse operations including inventory management, stock movement, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform safe lifting practices to prevent injuries during manual handling or heavy lifting tasks Assist with moving inventory within the warehouse or loading/unloading trucks as needed to support operational efficiency Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations with a focus on safe manual handling and material movement Strong knowledge of route planning, traffic regulations, and DOT compliance for safe commercial driving Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and material handling tools to facilitate heavy lifting and moving tasks Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally during deliveries Ability to adhere strictly to safety standards including weight handling protocols and safe lifting practices Comfortable using mobile devices for navigation, communication, and documentation during daily tasks This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy working both behind the wheel and on their feet, and are committed to delivering exceptional service while maintaining safety standards.
