Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker

Job Description: Delivery Driver Location: 13872 Coalfield Commons Pl., Midlothian This important part-time position contributes to the success of the urban Farmhouse market & café by ensuring quality products are always delivered in a timely fashion to our cafes to meet our customers’ needs. The Retail Driver is positive, people loving, enthusiastic and works to ensure deliveries are accurate and timely. This position requires approximately 20-25 hours per week, with a very flexible schedule. Primary Responsibilities: § Warmly welcome and connects with every customer. § Performs local deliveries in a safe, timely and efficient manner, utilizing a company vehicle. § Demonstrates a solid understanding of the local, geographic market. § Loads, delivers products to our stores, unloads, and helps to store promptly and efficiently. § Ensures all deliveries are accurate and checked in by Manager or Shift Leader on duty. § Support your fellow staff and work as a team. § No matter how busy you are, greet every guest with a friendly smile! Remember the 10-4 Rule! Eye contact within 10 feet, greet with a hello, how are you at 4 feet. § Assist Retail Team with retail deliveries, large product shifts, placements, merchandising and sourcing for sampling, both static and live sampling inside and outside. § Identifies supply challenges, delays, etc. and regularly communicates challenges and opportunities to Area Manager. § Provides absolutely unflagging attention to customer service and satisfaction, including speed of service, handling complaints and speedy response to requests. § Be inspired to make our customers feel better off than they were before they came! Requirements: § Valid Driver’s License. § Good Driving Record for 7+ years. § Excellent attention to detail, ability to reconcile product lists and note discrepancies. § Strong communication skills. § Proficient with internet applications and Smart Phones. § Passion for people, healthy food and a healthy lifestyle. § Self-motivated and hardworking. § Ability to function independently. § Thrives in a fast-paced environment. § Enthusiastic and friendly personality. Education: § High School Diploma or GED. Physical Requirements: § Ability to perform the following tasks at various times up to 90% of time: Bending and twisting, carrying heavy loads (more than 80 pounds), climbing, computer usage including equipment necessary for product preparation, POS and other special equipment, crawling, handling, kneeling, lifting, pushing and pulling, reaching, sitting, standing, walking and stooping.
