Delivery Driver / Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) Associate · Delivery Driver with a strong focus on VMI responsibilities to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by not only delivering products promptly but also maintaining clients’ inventory. Job Description: · The VMI Associate is the main point of contact for all local VMI clients and will handle all on site inventory levels / transfer, invoicing, and sales order processing. When not in the field or on-site at VMI client locations, you will work from the company’s Phoenix office and assist with general customer service and inside sales team support as needed. No remote work. Job Requirements: · A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. · Safely and efficiently operate a box truck up to 26ft. with lift gate. · Demonstrate the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive bending and kneeling, and reach above the head comfortably. · Standing or walking for extended periods of time is required. · Position requires the candidate to be able to multi-task, and easily shift workplaces from the Company office to multiple client locations, multiple times per day. · Attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries. · Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks to move cases from storeroom to vendor’s preferred areas. · Maintains all administrative work in a neat and legible fashion. · Maintains strong client relationships with Vendor’s, Operations, Supply Chain, and the Technical / Quality team. · React to reasonable customer requests on a timely basis with a high sense of urgency. · Continuously monitor customer actual demand versus forecasted demand and update Supply Chain accordingly to ensure accountability for all parties.
