Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles while pulling a trailer, adhering strictly to all traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts, ensuring proper weight distribution and safe lifting practices. Deliver products to customers’ locations promptly, maintaining professionalism and providing excellent customer service throughout each interaction. Verify delivery accuracy by inspecting shipments, completing necessary documentation, and ensuring all items are accounted for during loading and unloading processes. Move stock within the warehouse using manual handling equipment, organize inventory efficiently, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Follow route schedules diligently using mobile devices for navigation and communication, optimizing delivery efficiency while adhering to traffic laws. Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management, stock replenishment, and supporting team members in moving heavy items safely. Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or courier services with a focus on safe manual handling practices. Ability to operate commercial trucks while pulling a 20' trailer and use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Strong knowledge of route driving, adhering to traffic regulations, and DOT (Department of Transportation) compliance requirements. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and resolve issues effectively. Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, moving items safely, and performing manual tasks over extended periods. Familiarity with mobile devices for route navigation, communication, and documentation purposes. Experience in warehouse operations including load & unload procedures, material handling equipment operation, and maintaining safety standards.
