Delivery Driver/Production Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver/Production Worker to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations. This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. As a member of the production team you will help assembling and checking products, ensuring all machinery runs smoothly, and assisting in the packeting and shipment of items. Duties: - Safely operate a delivery vehicle, such as a box truck or refrigerated trailer, to transport goods to designated locations - Load and unload products from the vehicle using a forklift or manual lifting - Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries - Ensure all necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and HACCP logs, and invoices, are completed accurately - Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner - Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Wrapping and packaging meat products according to company guidelines - Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space - Assist with other warehouse duties as needed Requirements: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role - Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles - Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills - Ability to lift heavy objects 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as moving products - Excellent time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing paperwork - Commercial driving experience is preferred but not required If you are a reliable individual with excellent driving skills and enjoy working independently, we encourage you to apply for this position.
