Delivery Driver/Material Handler

Job Overview Join our busy team as a delivery driver/material handler, and become a vital part of our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely managing the movement, loading, unloading, of materials and products. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth and timely deliveries, and a safe working environment. Duties Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques to ensure safe and efficient movement of goods Prepare materials for storage or shipment by organizing, stacking, or packing items securely Operate truck and over deck trailer <30ft, deliver products to customer, field colleages, customers or manufacturing centers. Ensure paperwork is accurate Move materials within the shop or yard while adhering to safety protocols Communicate effectively with team members Perform routine safety checks on vehicles and equipment before use to prevent accidents or damage Help with shop inventory Maintaining organization of shop and materials. Experience Experience in delivery driving using a truck and trailer is mandatory Hands-on experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment. Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record; background check will occur. Ability to perform some heavy lifting safely and efficiently during moving or loading activities This role can be a great opportunity for an individual who is looking for a part-time or full-time role, with schedule variablity.
