Delivery Driver Helper

Duties Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts Help secure cargo properly in box trucks, vans, or other commercial vehicles to prevent damage during transit Support route driving by helping navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely, following proper lifting practices to prevent injuries Aid in maintaining warehouse organization by moving materials, organizing inventory, and supporting warehouse operations as needed Communicate effectively with drivers and customers to ensure smooth delivery processes and address any issues promptly Assist with documentation on mobile devices for delivery tracking, route updates, and delivery confirmation Requirements Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred Experience with commercial driving, including box trucks, van drivers, or courier services is a plus Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or personal vehicle delivery is desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely; knowledge of safe lifting practices required Comfortable operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and moving carts Knowledge of route driving, adhering to traffic regulations, and DOT regulations for commercial vehicles Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude when interacting with clients during deliveries Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards at all times Familiarity with mobile devices for communication and delivery documentation is advantageous Join us today to be part of a dedicated team that values safety, efficiency, and outstanding service!
