Delivery Driver – Cargo Van (Parcel Delivery)

Are you an experienced, safety-conscious driver with a passion for staying on the move? We are seeking reliable and motivated Delivery Drivers to join our team executing parcel deliveries for major networks like Amazon and Dragonfly.In this role, you will operate a standard commercial cargo van (such as a Ford Transit) to safely and efficiently transport packages directly to customer doorsteps. What You’ll Do: Load and Organize: Safely load, secure, and organize parcels in a company-provided cargo van prior to departure. Navigate & Deliver: Use a handheld smartphone/GPS routing device to navigate local routes and deliver up to 150+ parcels daily. Customer Service: Deliver packages safely, respectfully, and in accordance with specific customer instructions. Vehicle Care: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues. What We Look For (Requirements): Licence Stage: Must hold a valid, full Nova Scotia Class 5 Licence (or provincial equivalent). Drivers with an 'N' (Novice) or 'R' (Restricted) condition cannot be considered due to insurance requirements. Driving Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of licensed driving experience with a clean Driver’s Abstract (no major infractions or active demerit points). Background Check: Ability to successfully pass a criminal record check. Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and move comfortably in and out of a cargo van multiple times a day. Tech Savvy: Comfortable using smartphone apps for GPS routing and delivery tracking. Availability: Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends.
