You’ll operate company vehicles, transport furniture and appliances, complete in-home deliveries and setups, and interact directly with customers. When delivery work allows, you may also assist with warehouse tasks, merchandise transfers, or showroom setup. Primary Duties Drive company delivery vehicles safely and responsibly Load and unload furniture and other merchandise Transport and set up products inside customers’ homes Safely lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds Provide courteous and professional service during each customer interaction Move merchandise between Fischer Furniture locations Help with warehouse responsibilities and showroom setup as needed What We’re Looking For Successful candidates should have: A valid driver’s license and clean driving record No CDL requirement — a CDL is not needed for this position The ability to safely lift and handle merchandise weighing up to 75 pounds Good communication and customer service abilities A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team A dependable work ethic with a strong focus on safety Compensation & Employee Benefits The Fischer Furniture compensation and benefits package includes: Starting pay of $17.00 per hour $1,000 New Hire Bonus Delivery and safety performance bonuses Overtime pay Weekly pay Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Retirement plans 401(k) Paid vacation Paid time off Employee discounts Referral program Guaranteed Sundays off Flexible scheduling with two days off each week, including Sunday Schedule Details Delivery Driver schedules generally consist of 8-hour shifts or longer . Please note: Saturday availability is required Employees receive two days off each week, including Sunday Fischer Furniture is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day Where You’ll Work Delivery Drivers are based at our Rapid City stores and warehouse facilities .
