Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and reliable Delivery Driver with 5 tonne truck with a power tailgate to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting our products to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service. Your role will involve operating commercial vehicles, handling product (up to 70 lbs), and supporting the efficient movement of goods across our distribution network. Duties Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers (both internal and external) Load and unload product using appropriate equipment such as power tailgate and dollys (weight can be upwards of 70 lbs) Verify products in the load and delivery details, obtain signatures, and ensure accurate documentation Conduct routine vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards and report any maintenance needs. Daily cleaning of vehicles is also required. Communicate effectively and professionally with manager, sales team and customers Skills Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record Experience operating 5 tonne truck with power tailgate Knowledge of safe lifting techniques Basic automotive repair skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues would be an asset Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and delivery processes Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with team members and customers.
