Delivery Driver

Overview Schedule is 2 days per week, Tuesdays and Fridays...during holiday weeks, Tuesday will be swapped for Wednesdays. As an independent contractor DSP (Delivery Service Provider), you’ll provide your own vehicle, insurance, fuel, etc and transport product (This is a specific product) safely and reliably while creating a positive experience for customers. You’ll have approximately 50-70 deliveries per day (envelopes and boxes) to pre-assigned and repeated retail shops throughout North Idaho...Hayden, Rathdrum, all the way up to Bonner's Ferry. Your impact: Safe, timely deliveries help customers receive their packages smoothly and build confidence in their service experience. Compensation is per diem at $300-$350 2x per week. Responsibilities Drive your own delivery vehicle and follow Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and applicable safety procedures. Load, unload, and transport product using safe lifting practices; mostly mylar shipping envelopes with occasional boxes (Max weight 25-30#) Become familiar with app usage for delivery information and POD. Experience Required: Valid driving qualifications for the assigned vehicle and a safe driving record. Required: Basic math skills to verify orders & quanities. Preferred: Route driving, DSP & automobile transportation, great part time work for Amazon, Roadie and courier community. Strong communication and organizational skills are important. Military experience is welcome; related skills gained through service may be relevant. Pay: $300.00 - $350.00 per day Work Location: In person
