Delivery Driver

Overview As a Delivery Driver, you’ll transport freight safely and reliably, helping customers receive their deliveries and colleagues keep operations running smoothly. The role involves preparing loads, following delivery instructions, and communicating clearly about progress or issues. Responsibilities Load, secure, and unload freight, checking items against delivery information and handling goods carefully. Drive assigned routes, follow road and site safety procedures, and provide timely updates about delays or delivery concerns. Inspect the vehicle and report maintenance needs; assist with loading equipment and coordinate with colleagues at pickup and delivery locations. Your impact: Careful handling and dependable updates help customers receive freight in good condition and on time. Skills Required: Practical commercial driving capability, safe freight handling, clear communication, and attention to detail are important for completing deliveries and maintaining accurate records. Preferred: Experience with forklift operation, heavy equipment operation, or automotive repair can support efficient loading, equipment handling, and basic vehicle upkeep.
