Delivery Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and professionalism. The Delivery Driver must be capable of backing up a trailer and handling the physical demands of the job to ensure smooth delivery operations. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo. Back up trailers accurately and safely in various driving conditions. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimize time and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or issues. Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle. Complete all required documentation accurately, including delivery logs and receipts. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times. Experience Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar transportation role is preferred. Must be able to back up a trailer confidently and safely. Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle operated is required. Knowledge of local roads, traffic laws, and safety standards is essential. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
