Duties Safely operate various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Deliver products accurately to retail stores or client locations, following designated route schedules and optimizing driving routes for efficiency. Engage with customers professionally, providing excellent service while building strong client relationships through clear communication and friendly interactions. Manage merchandise merchandising tasks, including loading, unloading, and organizing deliveries to ensure proper presentation and inventory accuracy. Perform heavy lifting as needed, utilizing safe lifting techniques to handle packages or equipment efficiently without injury. Maintain detailed delivery logs, route documentation, and compliance records to ensure operational transparency and adherence to company policies. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging product knowledge to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance. Requirements Proven experience in commercial driving, route driving, or automobile transportation; retail store experience is a plus. Strong math skills for pricing calculations, inventory management, and route planning. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and internal reporting. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices. Knowledge of DOT regulations governing commercial truck driving and safety standards. Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently within tight schedules. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving or DOT compliance preferred. Customer service orientation with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and client relationship building.
