Delivery Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable, responsible, and customer-service-oriented Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering prescription medications and pharmacy-related items to patients and customers in a timely, safe, and professional manner. This position requires dependability, attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential patient information with care. The delivery driver will represent our pharmacy professionally while ensuring that all deliveries are completed accurately and efficiently. Hours: Monday - Friday, pick up delievery between 1-2pm. Deliveries must be completed before 6pm Key Responsibilities Deliver prescription medications and pharmacy orders to patients, homes, and other designated locations. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, safely, and on time. Verify delivery information and follow pharmacy procedures for handling and delivering prescriptions. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA privacy requirements. Obtain delivery signatures or other required confirmations when necessary. Communicate professionally with patients, pharmacy staff, and management. Maintain accurate delivery records and report any delivery issues promptly. Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and in good working condition, if applicable. Follow all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and pharmacy delivery policies. Provide courteous and professional customer service at all times. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean or acceptable driving record. Reliable transportation, if using a personal vehicle. Ability to follow directions and manage delivery routes efficiently. Strong communication and customer service skills. Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Previous delivery driver experience is preferred but not required. Must be able to work independently and demonstrate professionalism. Work Environment This position involves traveling to various delivery locations and interacting with patients and customers. The driver must be comfortable working independently, managing time effectively, and following pharmacy procedures for the safe and confidential delivery of medications.
