Delivery Driver — Hemp Hop Hemp Hop is looking for reliable, organized, and motivated individuals to join our team as delivery drivers. Our delivery drivers are responsible for safely transporting customer orders, providing friendly and professional service, and ensuring deliveries are accurate and handled with care. Drivers also assist with order preparation, organization, and cleaning between deliveries. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, working independently, and being part of a team in the Hemp & Cannabis industry. Dependability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safe driving are essential. Previous delivery or customer service experience is preferred. Delivery & Customer Service Responsibilities: Safely deliver customer orders within scheduled delivery windows while following traffic laws and safe driving practices. Verify order accuracy, customer information, and delivery instructions before leaving the store. Follow assigned routes and communicate with the store about delivery progress, delays, or changes. Handle products carefully and keep customer orders organized and secure during transport. Provide friendly, professional service when interacting with customers in person, by phone, or through approved messaging tools. Follow company procedures for customer identification, age verification, and proof of delivery. Accurately update delivery statuses and complete required delivery records using company-approved apps. Promptly report incorrect addresses, unsuccessful deliveries, damaged products, or customer concerns to the appropriate team member. Follow company procedures for returning undeliverable orders and reconciling completed deliveries. Protect customer privacy and handle customer information responsibly. Represent Hemp Hop professionally throughout each delivery. Side Work Responsibilities: Assist with packing, labeling, and organizing customer orders between deliveries. Help maintain an organized order staging area to prevent missing or incorrect items. Assist with restocking supplies, disposing of waste, and keeping work areas clean. Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized, and promptly report any vehicle issues that could affect safe operation. Provide support to the store team as needed to keep daily operations running smoothly. QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in delivery, courier services, transportation, or customer service is preferred. Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record. Strong time management skills and consistent attendance and punctuality. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Attention to detail when checking orders, addresses, and delivery instructions. Ability to use a smartphone, GPS navigation, and delivery management apps. Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and communicate effectively with the team. Ability to adapt to traffic, weather, changing routes, and varying order volume while prioritizing safety. Ability to handle customer concerns calmly and professionally. Willingness to assist with order fulfillment and general store tasks between deliveries. Interest in learning about Hemp Hop products; prior hemp or cannabis industry experience is a plus but is not required. Commitment to following Hemp Hop’s standard operating procedures and maintaining a culture of safety, accuracy, and teamwork. Additional Requirements Must be 21 years or older. Must maintain a valid driver’s license throughout employment. Must pass any required background and driving record checks. Must follow all applicable delivery requirements and company policies. Working Conditions Work involves local driving, customer deliveries, and time spent assisting at the store. Must be comfortable driving for extended periods and making frequent stops.
