Job Overview Long Tail Logistics is hiring full-time Delivery Drivers to bring packages to homes and businesses across the Baltimore area. You’ll drive a company van on a local route, with a handheld device guiding every stop, and you’ll finish your day back home, never on the road overnight. If you like staying active, working on your own, and knowing exactly what’s expected of you each day, this job is built for you. What You Get $23.00/hour starting pay, paid on a regular schedule Cash and gift bonus incentives that reward safe driving, reliability, and strong performance Paid time off Health, dental, vision, and mental health benefits for full-time employees (30+ hours/week) after 30 days Paid training : we’ll teach you everything you need to know Company vehicle and equipment provided, so you never use your own car for deliveries Local routes only , so you’re home every night A clear path to promotion : Lead Driver, Dispatcher, and station leadership Priority for full, steady schedules for drivers who join now as we add routes Your Day on the Job Clock in at the Edgewood station and inspect your van Join a short safety huddle with the team Load and organize your packages Run your route through city streets, suburban neighborhoods, or country roads, using the app to navigate, scan, and confirm each delivery Return to the station, do a final vehicle check, report any issues, and head home What You’ll Be Responsible For Getting every package to the right place, safely and on time Inspecting your vehicle at the start and end of every shift Driving safely and following all traffic laws, every time Keeping dispatch in the loop on delays, vehicle problems, or delivery issues Being friendly and professional with every customer you meet What We’re Looking For At least 21 years old Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Able to pass a background check and drug screen Authorized to work in the U.S. Reliable way to get to the Edgewood station on time, every shift Able to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stay on your feet most of the day: walking, bending, and getting in and out of the van Comfortable working independently, with dispatch support available when you need it Safety-first mindset, which matters more to us than anything else Preferred Experience You don’t need delivery experience to get hired, but these backgrounds give you a head start: Experience as a delivery driver of any kind, such as package, food, courier, parts, or route sales Previous work as a Delivery Associate for an Amazon DSP or another last-mile carrier Commercial, fleet, or company vehicle driving experience Work in fast-paced, high-volume settings like warehouses, distribution centers, retail stockrooms, restaurants, or moving companies Physically demanding jobs where you were on your feet all day hitting targets or deadlines A track record of solid attendance and showing up when the team needs you Comfort using smartphones, handheld scanners, or GPS apps Familiarity with roads and neighborhoods in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, or Harford County If you’ve worked anywhere that moves fast, asks a lot, and counts on you to deliver, you’ll fit right in here.
