Delivery and Installation Technician
WHITE GLOVE NCPosition Description: White Glove Delivery of NC is seeking dependable, customer-focused Appliance Installers/Non-CDL Box Truck Drivers to perform residential deliveries and installations. This is a hands-on delivery position requiring team members to enter customers’ homes, handle large household items, and complete basic appliance installations while providing an elite customer experience. Because our teams operate directly inside residential properties, all candidates must successfully clear an in-depth criminal background check prior to employment. Background Requirements: Because this position requires entering customers’ homes, candidates must successfully complete the company’s criminal background screening. Our background standards are strict, Key Responsibilities In-Home Installation: Safely lift, carry, deliver, assemble, and install household items inside customers' homes alongside a delivery partner using appropriate equipment and tools. Appliance Setup: Professionally install and connect household appliances, including washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges, and dishwashers. Vehicle Operation: Safely operate a 26-foot box truck, straight truck, moving truck, or similar delivery vehicle. Position Requirements Physical Capability: Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and maneuver heavy appliances and furniture through tight residential spaces and up stairs. Relevant Experience: Prior experience in final-mile delivery, appliance installation, with box truck driving is highly preferred. Comprehensive Background Screening: Must be willing and able to meet the company’s extensive background requirements necessary for secure in-home delivery positions.
