DC Lead (Night shift, Annex)

Overview: Our Distribution Center in Stockton, CA is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented individual to fill our DC Lead position. This position will be part of the Lead team and rotate responsibilities between: Shipping, Receiving, and Pipe . Schedule: Sunday- Thursday, 10:00 PM start time Requirements: Must be available for daily overtime as needed. Responsibilities: Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a cooperative manner with team members, customers, and managers. Lead the huddles with safety topics, improvements and break schedules / stretching. Manage flow of order picking, ensuring proper product identification and quantities, manually and/or utilizing forklift. Looks up part numbers, quantities, product locations, and branch information on the computer, as appropriate. Manage flow for receiving, check received material against paperwork, putaway product, unload trucks by hand and/or equipment. Operate a Stand-Up Forklift, Order (Cherry) Picker, and Reach. Work with all Supervisors to make sure we allocate proper resources to complete the workload. Prepare materials for delivery to and/or pick up by branches. Packs materials in boxes or on pallets (as appropriate), and labels accordingly. Maintains cleanliness of the overall facility to support safety standards, with an emphasis on the area assigned to the work group. Address and monitor all safety policies are followed and addressed accordingly. Ensure all employees are on task and productive. Coach employees to ensure work is completed accurately. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. High school diploma or equivalent credential required. Possess excellent product knowledge. Proficient on use of the WMS Inventory system, scanners, and HighJump. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Effective time management is a MUST. Presents a professional image and represents PACE Supply in accordance with our core values. Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Proficient on MS Outlook and Excel. Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. One to two years related experience or equivalent. Must hold and maintain attendance record within company policy.
