Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office. ____________________ Summary The Cycle Count Analyst supports inventory accuracy throughout the plant by performing cycle counts, researching discrepancies, processing verified inventory adjustments, and maintaining accurate inventory records in Oracle. This position works closely with Accounting, Production Planning and Inventory Control, and plant operations to identify root causes, resolve inventory issues, and support audit and physical inventory activities. Scope This position is responsible for: Daily cycle counting and inventory reconciliation Inventory discrepancy investigation and adjustment processing Negative Rack-on-Hand and Zero On-Hand reporting entries Inventory audit support and periodic physical inventory leadership Responsibilities Perform daily cycle counts of materials in stock and compare physical quantities against inventory records. Investigate inventory discrepancies, verify findings, and process required inventory adjustments in Oracle. Verify inventory computations against physical stock counts and research or report the causes of discrepancies. Prepare inventory discrepancy reports and communicate findings to the appropriate stakeholders. Serve as backup for entering internal inventory moves within the plant. Serve as backup for entering daily 1,500 count points for completed Paint Line parts. Investigate and report large quantity-held transactions. Review, investigate, and process Negative Rack-on-Hand and Zero On-Hand reporting entries, correcting verified inventory discrepancies in Oracle. Process conversion and tear-down adjustments, return salvaged material to inventory, and complete scrap tickets for items to be disposed of. Serve as backup for entering scrap tickets. Assist Production Planning and Inventory Control with inventory that cannot be located for released jobs by physically locating parts or correcting Rack-on-Hand records after investigation. Support corporate audits of the Cycle Count program and provide documentation as requested. Lead plant physical inventory counts conducted every third year, including count coordination, execution, discrepancy review, reconciliation, and reporting. Follow all applicable safety, quality, accounting, and inventory control procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Controller. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; related inventory control, warehousing, accounting, or manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers and decimals. Ability to read and understand instructions, correspondence, inventory records, and reports. Ability to communicate inventory findings effectively in one-on-one and small-group settings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle software applications. Current forklift license required when operating powered material handling equipment. Special Skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills. High attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy. Ability to exercise sound judgment when investigating and correcting discrepancies. Ability to prioritize work, manage time effectively, and meet reporting deadlines. Strong written communication and numerical reporting skills.
