We are looking for Cut Flower Purchasing Administrator to join our team. Job Overview This role requires strong flower product knowledge, sound administrative and analytical skills, and previous experience working in purchasing, buying, procurement or a similar business support function. The successful candidate will work closely with the Cut Flower Purchaser to maintain accurate inventory and pricing information, support purchasing decisions, monitor product quality and ensure timely, accurate information is available to our sales and operational teams. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who can bring existing purchasing, administrative and floral knowledge to the position and quickly become a reliable contributor to the Cut Flower Purchasing function. This role will suit someone who is detail-focused, commercially aware and comfortable working with product, numbers and changing priorities in a fast-paced floral environment. Key Responsibilities Monitor daily cut flower inventory levels and availability to support purchasing and sales requirements. Execute local cut flower purchasing within established requirements and direction. Review weekly on-hand floral inventory for quality, freshness and suitability for sale. Maintain accurate purchasing, product and pricing information. Prepare and distribute weekly cut flower price lists, ensuring product and pricing information is accurate and current. Communicate with internal teams regarding product availability, pricing, quality and purchasing requirements. Provide administrative and analytical support to the Cut Flower Purchaser and assist with other purchasing-related requirements as needed. Qualifications & Experience University degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Agriculture, Horticulture or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, buying, procurement or a comparable administrative/analytical role. Demonstrated cut flower and floral product knowledge, including familiarity with varieties, quality standards, seasonality and product condition. Strong numerical, analytical and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to confidently work with pricing, inventory and purchasing data by learning in-house platforms. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and quickly recurring deadlines. Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with purchasing, sales and operations teams. This posting is for an existing open position.
