Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to enhance their shopping experience. Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges. Lead by example in supervising team members during your shift, ensuring tasks are completed effectively. Conduct product demos to educate customers about new or featured items, encouraging sales and upselling opportunities. Maintain store merchandising standards by organizing displays and stocking shelves as needed. Handle cash accurately, perform basic math calculations for transactions, and manage cash handling procedures. Support inventory management by assisting with stock replenishment and reporting shortages or issues promptly. Requirements Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers and team members. Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math is essential for smooth operations. Ability to perform basic math calculations confidently for sales and cash handling tasks. Experience working in a grocery store or similar retail setting is preferred but not mandatory; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.
