The Opportunity We're seeking a versatile and detail-oriented professional to join our Drayton Valley team in a unique dual role that alternates weekly between Dispatch Operations and Safety Coordination. This position offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a real impact on our operations. What You'll Do Coordinate daily freight movements and driver schedules for optimal efficiency Communicate with drivers, customers, and depot locations to ensure on-time delivery Monitor shipment progress and proactively address any delays or issues Update tracking systems and maintain accurate documentation Provide exceptional customer service and problem-solving support Be available on-call to support drivers and address urgent operational needs Very High Paced Environment What We're Looking For Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Problem-solving mindset with ability to make decisions under pressure Experience in transportation, logistics, or safety (asset but not required) Comfortable with technology and learning new systems Flexibility to handle on-call responsibilities during dispatcher weeks Valid driver's license Knowledge Alberta Area and Edmonton Area What We Offer 45 hours per week with competitive compensation Company RRSP program to support your financial future Comprehensive benefits package Variety and challenge in a dual-role position Family-owned company culture with room for growth Opportunity to develop expertise in both operations and safety Long Term Stable Career Location Drayton Valley, AB Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,006.52-$104,358.44 per year Benefits: Company car Dental care Disability insurance Extended health care Life insurance Paid time off RRSP match Ability to commute/relocate: Drayton Valley, AB T7A 1R3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Work Location: In person
