Courier Driver

Job Title: (Independent Contractor) Location: Waynesville, NC Job Type: part-time/one day a week(Sunday) Starting Time: 07:00 AM Ending: Anderson, SC Job Description: We are currently seeking dedicated and responsible drivers to join our team as small parcel couriers. As a driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of packages from various stores. The route covers areas between Waynesville, Weaverville, Asheville, Hendersonville, and Spartanburg, Clemson area . This position requires adherence to strict protocols to ensure packages arrive on time and in a safe manner. This route operates Sunday starting at 07:00 AM and is ran until all deliveries are complete and line haul is met. Responsibilities: · Safely transport packages from Various locations to specified location. · Adhere to all safety and standard protocols to prevent lost, damaged, or forgotten packages. · Follow a predetermined route and schedule to ensure timely delivery of parcels/packages. · Maintain accurate records of the parcels/packages transportation, including pick up time, delivery time, and any relevant documentation · Communicate effectively regarding pick-up and delivery times · Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, clean, and equipped with any necessary storage or securing devices. · Maintain strict professionalism when dealing with customers at deliveries. · Handle any unforeseen circumstances or delays efficiently and effectively Requirements: MUST HAVE OWN LLC Must be available for all scheduled routes. · Valid driver's license and a clean driving record · Must use your own vehicle · Responsible for all gas, maintenance and taxes associated with the route · Prior experience in transportation or a similar role is preferred · Excellent driving skills and the ability to navigate various routes · Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Ability to handle time-sensitive and delicate materials with care · Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently · Must have a professional and responsible demeanor · Must be able to pass a background check Compensation: The rate of pay for this position ranges between $150 per day.
