Responsibilities Load and unload freight with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo integrity and safety during transit Maintain accurate documentation for deliveries, pickups, and cargo handling activities Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with safety standards Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route progress, delays, or issues encountered during deliveries Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, truck driving, or freight transportation within a logistics environment Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures, including manual handling of cargo Experience with manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailer operation Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with route driving across diverse terrains is preferred Ability to handle hazardous or dangerous goods safely according to industry standards Knowledge of truck loading/unloading equipment such as flatbeds or tankers is a plus Strong attention to detail for documentation accuracy and safety compliance Pay: $24.83 - $29.69 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Paid time off Passenger ride along program Pet rider program Vision insurance Work Location: On the road
