Courier Driver

Job Title: (Independent Contractor) Location: Clemson, SC Job Type: part-time/one day a week(Sunday) Starting Time: 07:00 AM Ending: Anderson, SC Job Description: We are currently seeking dedicated and responsible drivers to join our team as small parcel couriers. As a driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of packages from various Publix stores. The route covers areas between Cowpens, Greer, Abbieville. This position requires adherence to strict protocols to ensure packages arrive on time and in a safe manner. This route operates Sunday starting at 07:00 AM and is ran until all deliveries are complete and line haul is met. Responsibilities: · Safely transport packages from Publix to specified locations. · Adhere to all safety and standard protocols to prevent lost, damaged, or forgotten packages. · Follow a predetermined route and schedule to ensure timely delivery of parcels/packages. · Maintain accurate records of the parcels/packages transportation, including pick up time, delivery time, and any relevant documentation · Communicate effectively regarding pick-up and delivery times · Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, clean, and equipped with any necessary storage or securing devices. · Maintain strict professionalism when dealing with customers at deliveries. · Handle any unforeseen circumstances or delays efficiently and effectively Requirements: MUST HAVE OWN LLC Must be available for all scheduled routes. · Valid driver's license and a clean driving record · Must use your own vehicle · Responsible for all gas, maintenance and taxes associated with the route · Prior experience in transportation or a similar role is preferred · Excellent driving skills and the ability to navigate various routes · Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Ability to handle time-sensitive and delicate materials with care · Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently · Must have a professional and responsible demeanor · Must be able to pass a background check Compensation: The rate of pay for this position ranges between $150 per day.
