City/State Chesapeake, VA Work Shift Second (Evenings) Overview: Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Courier. Position Status: Part Time - Second Shift Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 12 pm to close Saturday 10am to close Position Location: Sentara Home Care Services - Chesapeake, VA Overview Performs as a transporter for various items such as deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters, marketing materials and packages. Proficient at performing 25% of all daily routes with the flexibility to work all three shifts in any geographic area when required. Required to operate vehicle safely, keeps vehicle clean and well maintained; maintain vehicle safety logs and submit requests for vehicle maintenance/repairs in a timely manner. Education Highschool Graduate or Equivalent Certification/Licensure Valid VA Driver's License Experience Previous experience with professional driving/transportation (in health care industry preferred) Clean driving record Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to sit/drive for up to 90% of the time Keywords: Courier, Home Care, part time, chesapeake We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $18.70 - $27.19 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
