Country Club Pro-Shop Buyer

POSITION SUMMARY Bentwater Yacht & Country Club is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and style-conscious Golf Pro Shop Buyer to create an exceptional shopping experience for members and guests. This role selects quality golf apparel, accessories, and merchandise that reflect Club standards, current trends, and member preferences. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Purchasing & Product Selection: Select golf apparel, footwear, accessories, and merchandise within approved budgets. Vendor Relationships: Maintain vendor partnerships, negotiate pricing, and coordinate orders and deliveries. Inventory Management: Monitor stock, sales trends, seasonal assortments, and excess inventory. Visual Merchandising: Create appealing, organized displays that enhance the shopping experience. Sales & Member Experience: Partner with Golf staff to understand member preferences and support service. Financial Accountability: Track purchasing budgets, pricing, margins, and inventory accuracy. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Experience in retail buying, merchandising, or inventory management preferred. Knowledge of golf apparel, lifestyle brands, and retail trends is a plus. Strong organization, communication, and vendor relationship skills. Comfort with POS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently and provide professional member service.
