Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and effective communication. Assist customers in selecting the right parts, accessories, and tools by leveraging extensive product knowledge. Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, organizing parts, and maintaining accurate stock levels using inventory management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Process sales transactions efficiently utilizing POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash, credit card payments, and cashiering duties with accuracy. Build strong customer relationships through personalized service, product education, and follow-up to encourage repeat business. Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders promptly, manage stock replenishment, and ensure the store remains organized and inviting. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace adhering to safety standards and operational procedures. Utilize Microsoft Office tools like Excel for inventory tracking and sales reporting to support store operations. Experience Proven experience in retail sales within an automotive parts store or dealership environment is highly preferred but not needed. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, automotive repair processes, and parts management is essential a plus but not needed. Excellent negotiation skills combined with customer relationship building expertise to enhance sales performance. Familiarity with inventory management software such as CMMS or similar systems; experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel is advantageous. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively. Prior experience with POS systems, cashiering duties, retail math proficiency, and inventory control practices will support success in this role. Strong communication skills coupled with phone etiquette are necessary for engaging clients professionally both in person and over the phone.
