Position Summary:

Carolina Beverage Group is seeking a highly skilled Corporate HR Operations Manager to lead and optimize core HR operational functions, including payroll, benefits administration, HRIS, and leave management. Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, this role ensures accuracy, compliance, data integrity, and process efficiency across a multi-site manufacturing organization.

 

Key Responsibilities


Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Oversee all payroll processing operations, ensuring accurate and timely wage calculations, tax withholdings, and deductions in compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Administer employee benefit programs including health, retirement, and wellness plans
  • Manage vendor relationships and support annual open enrollment processes
  • Ensure timely and accurate ACA reporting, W-2s, Forms 5500, SARs, and other required filings
  • Manage the monthly bonus process and related employee communications
  • Monitor changes in payroll and benefits laws and update policies and procedures accordingly

 

HRIS & Systems Management

  • Serve as system owner and lead administrator for the HRIS platform (ADP Workforce Now), overseeing configuration, security, and user access
  • Maintain data integrity through audits, validations, and internal controls
  • Develop custom reports, dashboards, and metrics to support HR and business decision-making
  • Identify and implement process improvements to ensure consistent data and workflows across all locations

 

Leave of Absence Management

  • Administer employee leaves including FMLA, state-paid leave programs, military leave, and company-sponsored leaves
  • Coordinate with HR, Payroll, managers, and third-party administrators to ensure accurate tracking and return-to-work processes
  • Ensure proper pay, benefits continuation, and deductions during leave periods
  • Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding leave policies and eligibility

 

HR & Compliance Support

  • Partner with HR leadership on audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory filings
  • Prepare and deliver monthly and annual HR reports for leadership and workforce planning
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies, processes, and procedures

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or a related field is preferred
  • 4+ years of progressive HR operations experience
  • Hands-on experience administering payroll, benefits, and HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll, benefits administration, and employment law
  • Experience supporting multi-department or multi-entity organizations
  • Knowledge of ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and related compliance requirements
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Strong working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now is strongly preferred. 
  • Multi state payroll and compliance experience
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Primarily office-based with regular interaction in manufacturing environments
  • Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods
  • Occasional travel to manufacturing facilities may be required
