Duties Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information to enhance their shopping experience Handle cash register operations including cash handling, balancing the cash drawer, and issuing receipts with precision Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure products are well-presented through effective merchandising techniques Conduct product demos and upselling activities to promote featured items and increase sales opportunities Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone inquiries or orders Assist with inventory management by stocking new products, conducting stock checks, and managing stock rotation Experience Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Supervising experience in retail or customer service environments is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and team coordination Familiarity with POS systems and retail math for handling transactions accurately Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising strategies, and customer service best practices Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash handling and sales processing Excellent phone etiquette skills to communicate professionally with customers and team members Pay: $17.13 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 22.0 per week Work Location: In person
