Most of our business comes from referrals and repeat clients. The Role We're hiring a Production Manager to own our residential projects from pre-construction through punch list. Working from completed designs, you'll translate each project into an executable plan, then run it in the field: multiple interior remodels concurrently across Northern Virginia, leading our in-house crews, coordinating specialized subcontractors, and serving as the homeowner's main point of contact. This is a field role: most of your week is on jobsites, with remote flexibility for planning, procurement, and reporting. What You'll Do Take each project from pre-construction through punch list: scoping, scheduling, material procurement, and closeout - working from completed design documents Run multiple concurrent kitchen, bathroom, and basement remodels - sequencing in-house crews (carpentry, tile) and specialty trades Protect the FBT promise of guaranteed start dates: no job jumping, projects staffed every day Monday through Friday until complete Communicate with homeowners throughout the project - schedules, selections, changes, and expectations - in a way that earns referrals Read plans, elevations, and finish schedules; flag discrepancies before they become change orders Lead quality control walks and drive punch lists to zero Track labor and materials against budget; report project status weekly Maintain clean, organized jobsites and enforce safety standards Build lasting relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and design partners What We're Looking For 7+ years managing residential construction or remodeling projects - you've seen the whole arc of a project, not just pieces of it Proven ability to turn completed designs into buildable schedules and budgets Comfortable with construction technology: MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), JobTread, Workforce, and similar project management and workforce scheduling tools - you adopt new software quickly Ability to read construction documents and translate them into field execution Bilingual in Spanish is a plus - you'll lead a diverse field workforce, and being able to communicate directly with every member of the crew sets you apart Strong client-facing communication skills; you can deliver a schedule update and a hard conversation with equal confidence Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for daily site visits across Northern Virginia Detail obsession - our clients notice the small details; so should you What We Offer Salary $90,000 - $115,000, based on experience Full-time W-2 position Health benefits, PTO, and retirement plan A steady pipeline of high-end interior remodeling work built on 30+ years of referrals Autonomy to run your projects your way - we hire owners, not order-takers Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 3% Match Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
