Concrete Superintendant

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Concrete Superintendent to lead and oversee all aspects of concrete construction projects. This dynamic role requires a proactive leader with a strong background in commercial construction, capable of managing teams, coordinating schedules, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will excel in construction management software, blueprint reading, and project scheduling, driving projects forward with enthusiasm and precision. As a key player on our team, you will be responsible for supervising crews, managing subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to all safety regulations. Duties Lead and supervise concrete construction crews, managing daily operations on-site to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance. Coordinate construction schedules. Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of concrete work. Monitor quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle, conducting inspections and ensuring adherence to construction standards. Manage project documentation using construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, or similar tools for tracking progress and issues. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to review contracts, change orders, and project scope adjustments. Enforce federal construction safety regulations including OSHA standards; conduct safety meetings and site audits regularly. Oversee budgeting activities related to concrete materials, labor costs, and equipment usage while maintaining cost control measures. Supervise subcontractors and crew members; provide training on safety procedures and technical tasks as needed. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, construction regulations, and industry best practices for heavy civil or commercial projects. Requirements Proven experience in commercial concrete construction management with a strong track record supervising teams on large-scale projects. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately for concrete installation projects. Familiarity with OSHA standards, federal safety regulations, and construction site safety management practices. Strong understanding of contracts management and project scope review processes. Excellent communication skills for managing teams effectively and coordinating with clients and stakeholders. Experience with budgeting processes related to materials procurement and labor management in construction projects. Skilled in managing multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality control. Valid experience in blueprint reading, project scheduling, site supervision, and managing subcontractors within the commercial or civil construction sectors. Knowledge of construction regulations relevant to concrete work including safety protocols for heavy machinery use such as ohmmeters or other testing equipment.
