The position is based out of the company's Emmett yard and involves transporting concrete to construction jobsites. Construction or off-road trucking experience is preferred. About Granite Excavation Granite Excavation is a locally owned heavy civil construction company specializing in earthmoving, underground utilities, paving, concrete structures, and public and private construction projects. Requirements: Key Responsibilities Safely operate a concrete mixer truck to transport and deliver concrete to assigned jobsites. Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Ensure the truck and trailer are properly loaded and secured before travel. Follow Foreman instructions and daily jobsite schedules and expectations. Drive safely on public roads and construction sites and follow applicable traffic and jobsite safety requirements. Maintain a professional and courteous approach when working with coworkers, customers, and jobsite personnel. Maintain required vehicle documentation and report vehicle defects or safety concerns. Qualifications Valid Class A CDL required. Current DOT medical card and required driver documentation. Tanker endorsement required, as stated in the source posting. Verifiable driving experience and an excellent driving record. Ability to meet applicable FMCSA regulations. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test. Experience in construction-based or off-road trucking preferred. Ability to follow directions and work safely around construction equipment and active jobsites.
