Concrete & Masonry Foreman

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Hourly Rate (Commensurate with experience) Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and tech-savvy Concrete & Masonry Foreman to lead our field operations in the New York metropolitan area. The ideal candidate will blend strong on-site leadership with backend administrative capabilities, managing crews, reading structural drawings, and ensuring strict compliance with local safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Field Leadership: Supervise, schedule, and coordinate daily activities for concrete and masonry crews on residential and commercial job sites. Blueprint Reading: Read, interpret, and execute work directly from structural drawings, architectural blueprints, and technical specifications. Material Procurement: Estimate material needs, source vendors, and purchase construction materials efficiently to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Safety Enforcement: Maintain a zero-incident job site by enforcing OSHA standards, NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) regulations, and company safety protocols. Digital Documentation: Use computer/tablet software to log daily field reports, track project milestones, manage email correspondence, and submit digital timecards. Requirements & Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of supervisory experience specifically in concrete structures, foundations, and masonry work. License: Must possess a valid, clean Driver’s License. Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading construction drawings and blueprints is mandatory. Computer Literacy: Ability to comfortably use smartphones, tablets, spreadsheets (Excel), and construction management or estimating software. Certifications: OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required with 62 Hour SST card. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with clients, engineers, and crew members.
