Company OTR Reefer Driver

Job Summary As a Company OTR Reefer Driver, you’ll transport refrigerated freight over the road while protecting cargo quality and delivering shipments safely and on schedule. You’ll operate a commercial tractor-trailer, plan routes with GPS navigation, and follow applicable Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. This role may involve manual transmission, freight handling, and loading or unloading. Your impact: Careful temperature and cargo management helps customers receive their goods in safe, usable condition. Duties Drive over-the-road (OTR) routes and complete delivery driving assignments using safe, professional commercial driving practices. Operate a refrigerated trailer and monitor its condition and cargo during transit. Use GPS navigation and route-driving information to plan and adjust trips. Handle logistics cargo, including manual loading and unloading; secure freight and use safe manual-handling practices. Complete required trip and delivery records, and comply with hazardous materials and dangerous goods rules when applicable. Qualifications Required: Valid commercial driving credentials appropriate for the role, a safe driving record, and ability to operate a tractor-trailer, including manual transmission if assigned. Required: Knowledge of truck driving, delivery driver responsibilities, FMCSA and DOT regulations, and safe freight handling. Preferred: Experience with refrigerated trailers, OTR routes, delivery driving, automobile transportation, and truck loading and unloading. Preferred: Familiarity with Hazmat (hazardous materials), flatbed or tanker equipment, and applicable hazardous materials regulations.
