Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Trucks Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy-duty diesel trucks. Duties Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, shocks & struts, and other heavy-duty truck components using automotive diagnostics and mechanical repair techniques Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire service, alignment, and air brake system inspections Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and other maintenance equipment safely and effectively during repairs Conduct vehicle inspections to identify issues early and perform basic troubleshooting to determine necessary repairs Maintain detailed service records, complete repair reports, and document all work performed for compliance and quality assurance Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with heavy-duty diesel trucks or similar commercial vehicles Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, electrical repair, engine repair, transmission work, and brake systems Proficiency with basic vehicle troubleshooting techniques and the use of diagnostic software or electronic testing devices Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools safely while maintaining high-quality standards Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in various conditions; willingness to perform maintenance tasks that require manual dexterity and attention to detail Valid certifications in automotive repair or diesel engine repair are preferred; ongoing training in new technologies is a plus Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise keeps our fleet moving forward!
