Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight safely and efficiently across various routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a range of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. As a CDL Truck Driver, you will be the vital link in ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining excellent customer service, and upholding the highest safety protocols on the road. Your expertise in logistics cargo handling, route driving, and hazardous materials regulations will drive our success forward. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers across over-the-road (OTR) routes Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques while ensuring cargo integrity and compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations Navigate using GPS systems to optimize routes and meet delivery schedules efficiently Transport hazardous materials (Hazmat) following all hazardous materials regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) guidelines Deliver freight accurately to designated locations, providing excellent delivery driver experience and customer service Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo manifests, and delivery documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations Experience Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with endorsements for hazardous materials (Hazmat), tanker, or refrigerated trailer preferred Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning Hands-on experience with truck loading/unloading, manual transmission operation, and logistics cargo handling Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous goods handling, and safety protocols for dangerous goods transportation Ability to perform manual handling tasks related to truck loading/unloading operations Strong understanding of over-the-road (OTR) driving routes and delivery schedules Embark on a career that keeps you moving!
