Commercial Driver's License A Truck Driver - Intermodal / Second Shift

Job Summary Second Shift DRIVER will slip seat with the first shift. Experience with Intermodal containers, average shift is 12 hours and a 250 mile radius. As an Intermodal Truck Driver on the second shift, you’ll move intermodal freight safely and reliably between rail terminals, facilities, and delivery points. You’ll operate a tractor-trailer, follow assigned routes, and while meeting applicable transportation and safety requirements. Responsibilities Drive commercial vehicles on truck routes and route-driving assignments; follow GPS navigation and route instructions. Inspect and operate tractor-trailers, including manual-transmission equipment, and report vehicle or cargo concerns. Slip Seat trucks with the first shift Experience with Intermodal containers, average shift is 12 hours and a 250 mile radius. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, including applicable hazardous materials and dangerous goods requirements (if applicable) Your impact: Safe, dependable deliveries help customers and logistics partners keep freight moving. Qualifications Required: Valid CDL Class A and ability to meet applicable driving, safety, and regulatory requirements. Required: Commercial truck driving skills, including intermodal operations, intermodal driving experience is necessary. Experience with Intermodal containers, average shift is 12 hours and a 250 mile radius. Able to perform required loading and unloading and manual handling safely.
