Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across diverse routes with energy and precision! In this vital role, you’ll operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trucks, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will keep our operations running smoothly. We’re looking for motivated drivers who thrive on over-the-road (OTR) routes, excel in manual handling, and are committed to adhering to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and hazardous materials regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers across OTR routes, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, ensuring compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules while optimizing routes for fuel efficiency and timeliness. Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured properly in accordance with logistics cargo handling standards. Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) safely following all hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols. Manage the transportation of automobile parts or other specialized freight requiring careful handling and securement. Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections on trucks to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in compliance with FMCSA regulations. Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tanker trucks, and hazardous materials transportation. Ability to operate manual transmission trucks comfortably and handle truck loading/unloading tasks efficiently. Knowledge of DOT regulations, FMCSA standards, hazard communication procedures, and dangerous goods handling. Strong GPS navigation skills for route planning and real-time adjustments. Excellent manual handling skills for cargo loading/unloading tasks while maintaining safety standards. Prior experience with freight management systems or logistics cargo handling is preferred.
