We are seeking a dependable Part-Time CDL Driver for local pickups and deliveries. This position features a stable, evening shift running 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM daily, making it a perfect opportunity for drivers looking for a second income, semi-retirees, or anyone who needs a flexible daytime schedule. You will handle short, local runs and be home every single night. Safely operate commercial vehicle to handle local pickups and deliveries. Navigate local routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and DOT regulations. Deliver freight to various locations while maintaining excellent customer service and professionalism during each interaction. Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety protocols during transit and cargo handling. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before hitting the road. Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and compliance records for each trip. Experience Valid CDL A license with clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving in various environments. Ability to consistently commit to the 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM schedule. Understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, and safety standards related to commercial trucking. Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week Work Location: In person
