Code LaneJob Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A Truck Driver. This job entails hauling gravel, sand, and asphalt across Western North Dakota. This role offers the opportunity to operate belly-dump and side-dump trailers. As a CDL A Truck Driver, you will be the vital link in our logistics chain, ensuring timely deliveries and exceptional service for our customers. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial tractor-trailers across North Dakota, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load, secure, transport, and unload various types of aggregate material. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking load security, fluid levels, brakes, tires, and safety equipment to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Maintain accurate documentation for deliveries in the use of scale tickets and daily haul sheets. Maintain weekly time cards, weekly load summaries, and daily inspection reports. Communicate professionally with dispatchers, clients, and team members and resolve issues promptly. Skills Valid CDL A license and medical card. Must have held Class A CDL for minimum 2 years. Must have minimum 2 years clean driving record. Proficiency in operating tractor-trailers, with a strong understanding of truck loading and unloading procedures. Training for belly-dump and side-dump trailer usage is available. Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, and safety protocols for commercial truck driving.
