Commercial Driver's License A Truck Driver

Overview Join our transportation team as a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A Truck Driver and keep freight moving safely and reliably. You’ll operate commercial trucks on local and over-the-road (OTR) routes, using GPS navigation to plan deliveries and adapt to route conditions. Assignments may include refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation, depending on operational needs. Duties Drive tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles for pickup and delivery, following assigned routes and schedules. Load, unload, and secure freight; handle cargo manually when needed and verify it is protected for transport. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, including applicable hazardous materials and dangerous goods requirements. Complete vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Your impact: Safe driving and careful cargo handling help customers receive their freight in good condition and on schedule. Experience Required: Valid CDL Class A and a safe driving record; experience with commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or route driving. Required: Ability to operate a manual transmission and safely perform truck loading and unloading. Preferred: Experience with OTR routes, refrigerated trailers, flatbed, tanker, or automobile transportation. Preferred: Hazmat qualifications and experience handling logistics cargo or other freight.
