Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers across various routes, including VAC Trucks. Your expertise in handling, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks will ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, including flatbed, tanker, and VAC trucks, along designated routes while adhering to all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Plan routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery schedules and ensure timely arrivals Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques or equipment such as forklifts, ensuring proper cargo securement and safety protocols Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo documentation in compliance with regulatory standards Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route adjustments, delivery updates, or safety concerns Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and proven experience in commercial truck driving Demonstrated experience with flatbeds, tankers, or VAC trucks Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazardous materials regulations, DOT regulations, and safety standards for truck driving Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and handle manual loading/unloading procedures Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy cargo or operating forklift equipment when necessary Strong commitment to safety protocols and compliance with all federal and state transportation laws Join our team as a CDL A Truck Driver and take pride in delivering essential freight across diverse routes!
