Overview Join our transportation team as a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A Truck Driver and keep freight moving safely and reliably. You’ll operate tractor-trailers on local or over-the-road (OTR) routes, use GPS navigation to plan and follow routes, and complete deliveries while meeting applicable safety requirements. Assignments may involve refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or automobile transportation, depending on operational needs. Responsibilities Drive commercial trucks and tractor-trailers, including vehicles with manual transmissions, on assigned delivery and route-driving schedules. Secure, inspect, load, and unload freight; perform manual handling and use a forklift when authorized and appropriate. Follow Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Department of Transportation (DOT), hazardous materials, and dangerous goods regulations; handle hazmat cargo only when qualified and assigned. Check vehicle condition, cargo securement, delivery documents, and route details; report issues promptly. Your impact: Safe driving and careful cargo handling help customers receive freight on schedule and in good condition. Requirements Valid CDL Class A and the ability to meet applicable driving and safety requirements. Commercial truck driving, commercial driving, truck driving, delivery driving, or delivery driver experience; experience with OTR routes is useful. Ability to operate a tractor-trailer and manual transmission, navigate with GPS, and safely load or unload cargo. Relevant experience with refrigerated trailers, automobile transportation, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, freight, logistics cargo handling, or forklifts is preferred. Hazmat or dangerous goods duties require applicable qualifications and compliance with relevant regulations.
