Commercial Driver's License A Truck Driver

Overview This is a Class A CDL driving position that supports heavy construction, hauling aggregate materials, and land clearing work. Primary duties include hauling equipment with an RGN and transporting materials with a belly dump or dump truck. When driving isn't required, you may assist as a laborer on site. We need someone safety-minded, reliable and ready to work where needed. Class A CDL and a good driving record are required. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmission, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations. Load and unload equipment efficiently when required. Use GPS navigation systems to follow optimized delivery routes, ensuring on-time arrivals while maintaining safety standards. Manage logistics cargo handling by securing loads properly and performing routine inspections before and after trips. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, logs, and compliance records in line with DOT regulations. Communicate proactively with dispatch teams regarding route updates or any issues encountered during transit. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) Class A license. Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures, including freight handling for various cargo types such as belly dumps, RGN/flatbeds, dump trucks. Familiarity with GPS navigation tools for route planning and real-time tracking. Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for truck driving. Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and handle manual handling tasks safely. Experience in delivery driving with a focus on route driving efficiency and customer service excellence. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; must have experience with tractor-trailer units .
